Sony Alpha A77 II Digital SLT Camera Body

The Sony Alpha A77 II Digital SLT builds on the successful formula of its predecessor, the A77, with speed very much as its priority. Its 24.3MP Exmor CMOS sensor and BIONZ X processing engine allow images to be captured at 12fps, with metering and continuous focus maintained throughout. A newly developed focusing system, meanwhile, boasts 79 phase-detect AF points (incl. 15 cross-type points) spread over an area twice the size of that inside the A77 camera, while a new Expanded Flexible spot option is designed to keep track of a moving subject even when the chosen focus point loses it. Underneath the A77 II's XGA OLED Tru-Finder, the camera offers a 3in vari-angle LCD, while built-in Wi-Fi and NFC technologies allow the user to share images without the hassle of cables. All of this is encased in a dust- and moisture-resistant body, making the A77 Mark II a perfect candidate for more demanding environments.
